Meeting Ice Breaker Games (Are they Psychologically Safe For Employees?)

All the changes recently in our society, have left many people feeling insecure about their future. Not only as a person, and individual, but also as part of the workplace team. but also as their future in the workplace. The more people see other success, the more they are willing to believe they will succeed within your corporation. Employees are more likely to complain. When they are feeling insecure, think it’s additional work with no pay, or just overall have the feeling they want to just go to work get their work done and return home. Their home obligations are just as important as their careers.

Ice Breaker ideas:

  1. Best photo contest award to be given after the meeting at the awards dinner that recognizes the best employees on the last night of the meetings or conference. Photos can be posted on employers’ online portals. Make sure to add guidelines to what types of ”’insta’ photos your business is looking for.

  2. Snack goodness swap. Each person brings their favorite snack, the time allowed people to swap, trade, and negotiate the better snack of their choice.

  3. Scavenger Hunt (Scavenger Hunt App) A virtual game where you look through different areas for things you want to be found. Pricing varies depending on the number of users. Can be used at the destination your having your company meetings. There are different options to choose what works best for your meeting business.

  4. Business meetings tend to get employees thinking about what the business/company wants now.

  5. Conversation starter: One of my favorites to add to the meeting agenda. Due to reality the people attending the business meetings might not all know each other, therefore they might know them as their departments or countries they reprint within the corporation. Try to stay away from personal questions about the employees. Make it more about the company or business in the large group setting. In small groups, it can become personal questions, since the departments always work with the same employees.

In conclusion, one must know and understand what the business is all about and the goals your corporation has for its employees. If an ice breaker is to build an understanding of the business the employees are employed with then these are some fun ways to get the conversation started. The employee not only receives business information. They will also receive an understanding that they have a voice within their corporation. I recommend you employ a local meeting planner that can guide you through the planning process of the city you'll be meeting in.
