The sad realistic truth is that meetings and conference are lite. Choose your company colors and light up the room in 2023 sessions. Don’t worry what you spend on lighting you can now take off the bill with other things like lower speaker cost. Why the trend is to have the speaker live on zoom rather than fly then and house them to the location their to speak at.

Here are the trending meeting changes.

Speakers and heads of Corporations are no longer being wined and dined so to speak. The Luxury is now on purchasing thank you gifts and having them delivered to there Corporate headquarters. Cost saver for conferences.
Methods such as zoom calls are now being tested in conferences. The audience is live. One employs attendants or the CEO of the local sister company to oversee the details of the meeting along with the meeting planner.
Teaching and lectures go on as usual except the person is projected to a large screen as a zoom call. People can ask questions and the audience can be heard. While the speaker is on zoom call they are more relaxed in their approach to the lecture or lesson to be taught.
The conference attendees are as usual in classroom or lecture set up depending on how many in attendance.
Handouts can be email prior to lecture.
Less costly headliners can teach other sessions.
Snacks, lunch, dinners are still provided for attendees as well as room blocks.

All this in the hopes of keeping the cost down during the 2023 year. A suggestion to all those that are considering this type of conference. Although you are saving money on the expenses of running a conference one still needs think of the value and take away for the attendees.
