“Perfection”
Throughout the years I have thought about this word a lot. You see, most of the clients that choose event planners aka known as wedding planners are looking for perfection! They want their day to be perfect. What is perfection really?
Perfection defined: a) the condition, state, or quality of being free or as free as possible from all flaws or defect, “the satiny perfection of her skin” b.) a person or thing perceived as the embodiment of perfection. “I am told that she is perfection itself” c.) the action or process of improving something until it is faultless or as faultless as possible. “among the key tasks was the perfection of new mechanisms of economic management”
How do I create “perfection” for my clients, events, weddings, meetings. It’s simple really....I don’t. I find that in search of perfection creates imperfection. It’s not humanly possible to achieve. Why? It is in man’s nature to look for the imperfection. If you look, long and hard enough at anything you will find the imperfection. It is up to my clients to make their day perfect. Attitude makes or brakes the client on the day of the event. They way they respond to things makes them the sexier of truth on their day.
This is what I provide.
A venlue
a decor that is chosen by client
timing
timeline
general overall respect for the event
all the details of the event
the appearance of perfection
perfection in event planning is illusive, like a butterfly how people react and feel is the magic of perfection
